I am an award-winning portrait photographer in the D.C. Metro Area, specializing in high-end professional headshots, intimate events and brand photography.

I started taking photographs almost two decades ago while studying vocal performance at The Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University. I fell in love with taking creative portraits and headshots for fellow artists, and quickly found I was honing a second craft.

As a performer, I understand the portrait needs for all types of people, from professionals and executives to actors, entrepreneurs, and multi-talented creatives. I also enjoy a successful career as a vocal session musician and keyboardist, which inspires me to bring collaborative insight and technical mastery to every photography session. I am trained to listen, which helps me create portraits that not only look stunning but also capture the true essence of my subjects.

My studio is in Baltimore, MD, and I’ve traveled all over the world with my camera.

Britt took her time and made sure that I felt comfortable going into and at every moment in the session, and she gently coached me throughout to help me get the best photos. I had a ton of great options to choose from, and her retouching was quick and fantastically executed. I now have had shots that I am really proud of and have already heard unprompted compliments from people about my headshot since I started using it!
